Punchh is a prominent loyalty and engagement platform in the United States, specializing in aiding the world's largest restaurants, convenience stores, and retail brands to acquire and retain customers, enhance visit frequency, and maximize consumer spending.his project aimed to develop a comprehensive, white-label atomic design system that would serve as the definitive source of truth for all user interface (UI) design projects at Punchh, facilitating consistency and efficiency across the board.
User Research: The design of over 200 unique components was informed by thorough user research and testing to ensure that each component was not only functional but also met the end-users' needs. Accessibility Compliance: A significant focus was placed on ensuring all components adhered to the latest accessibility standards, thus guaranteeing that Punchh's services were inclusive and accessible to all users. Review and Optimization: Each component underwent rigorous reviews and discussions to maintain a lean and effective component library, preventing unnecessary bloat and ensuring optimal performance.
The culmination of this project was a robust and scalable atomic design system that has been fully integrated into Punchh's daily operations, influencing every aspect of their UI design projects.
