Collaborative design thinking workshops with stakeholders, including Logpoint's team, helped align everyone's vision and establish shared project goals. Creating personas and user flows based on user research allowed me to empathize with Logpoint's diverse target audiences and map out their interactions with the website.
To cater to diverse users and emphasize the focus on products while maintaining a friendly and secure brand image, we opted for minimal illustrations with no cultural emphasis. This approach allowed us to highlight LogPoint's commitment to security and trust as the primary message. By striking a balance between approachable visuals and implying security and trust, LogPoint's Nordic culture and values were well represented, creating a welcoming experience for all users. These illustrations were thoughtfully integrated throughout the website to enhance its visual appeal and inclusivity.
Strategic incorporation of interactive elements and subtle animations complemented the serious tone of the website while enhancing user engagement and experience. Regular collaboration with Logpoint's team, incorporating their feedback and preferences, ensured that the final design solution aligned with their vision and business objectives.
User testing and stakeholders feedback played a crucial role in gathering valuable feedback and insights, which I used to make iterative improvements, ensuring that the final website design effectively addressed the needs of all target users. During the testing phase, valuable feedback was received from various stakeholders, including the meeting attendees, CTO, Sales Director, Customer Success, and Customers. The key points of feedback were: - Strengthening the connection with nature in the brand representation. - The need for some rewording or a mindset shift. - A greater focus on industries in the content. - The inclusion of both photos of people and illustrations for webinars. - Improving illustrations by making them sharper, stronger, and more impactful. By following this comprehensive design process, I successfully addressed Logpoint's challenges, integrated their Nordic culture, and created a user-centric website that appealed to customers and technical experts. The design solutions effectively communicated the cutting-edge nature of Logpoint's technology, resulting in a successful website redesign that fulfilled their goals.
The design thinking process involved gathering feedback from different stakeholders, including the client's employees and customers. Key points from the feedback included: In approaching the Logpoint website redesign, I prioritised understanding the problem of catering to diverse audiences – customers and technical experts. Through interviews and personas, I empathized with user needs. Employing an iterative, user-centric approach, I created wireframes, user flows, and sketches, iterating based on regular feedback sessions. To reinforce inclusivity, I sketched diverse characters and integrated nature-themed illustrations. Dynamic dark and light mode contrasts addressed the varied audience needs. A collaborative design system ensured consistency and engaging animations enhanced user experience without compromising seriousness. Valuing client collaboration, I delivered a user-friendly, cohesive website with a distinct brand identity, fulfilling Logpoint's goals effectively.
